Easy Peach Jam

Here is a really easy recipe to make homemade peach jam.

9 -- Medium Peaches
2 -- Tbs. Lemon Juice
1 -- Box of Pectin
2 -- Cups of Sugar

1. Peel the peaches. Easiest way to peel them is to get a pan of water on the stove boiling. Put the peaches in for a couple of minutes, take them out of pan and peel. If the peaches are ripe the peels will just come right off by doing this method.

2. Pit the peaches and cut them into small bites. You can also use the blender to make the peaches smooth if you don't want any lumps in your jam.

3. Add the peaches to a 6 or 8 quart pan with the lemon juice. Slowly add the pectin while stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly for about five minutes.

4. Add the sugar half a cup at a time while stirring the whole time. Taste the mixture to make sure it is sweet enough.

5. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for three minutes while continuing to stir.

6. Pour the mixture into your jars and can.

Orange Marmalade

Here is a super easy recipe for making orange marmalade jam.

8 -- Oranges
1/2 -- Lemon Juice
2 -- Cups of sugar
1 -- Box of Pectin

1. Peel the oranges. You will want to save the rind and cut it into tiny pieces. After all of the oranges have been peeled , put the peels into pan and use about 1 1/2 cups of water into it. Bring it to a boil for about 30 minutes or until the rinds are soft. If you don't like your jam really lumpy put the cooked rinds in the blender.

2. Cut the orange into small pieces, and add to the blender. Blend until almost smooth and add the oranges to the pan of rinds.

3. Add the lemon juice to the pan.

4. Bring to a rolling boil for about 5 minutes, then add the pectin, stirring constantly.

5. Add the sugar a half of a cup at a time, while stirring constantly. Bring back to a rolling boil for about 10 minutes. Taste it to make sure that it is sweet enough.

6. Add the jam to jars and can.
