Homemade Refried Beans:


2 Pounds of pinto beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic to taste
onion powder to taste

1.  Put the beans overnight in the crock pot on low.
2.  Check in the morning, and add water if need be.
3.  Continue to cook on low until you are ready to use.
4.  Split the beans in half.
5.  Mash half of the beans.
6.  Heat oil in a pan, you need to at least make sure the bottom is covered.
7.  Put the un-smashed beans in the pan a scoop at a time.
8.  Once you have added all to the un-smashed beans, add the smashed beans.
9.  Once all of the beans are in the pan, start to add the seasoning.
10.  Cook on low for about 15 minutes.
11.  Serve and enjoy.
